So the church had the youth group yard sale today and it went exceptionally well…we more than surpassed our goal. But as I always am, I am conflicted. We raised money to take the youth kids to camp and people brought sooooo much stuff to donate to the yard sale… But what does it matter?
My wife assembled an incredibly efficient day and everything but… What does raising money have to do with the kingdom? What would Jesus say about using the $2000+ to send my kids to camp? Would he care for or Against? Or would he blabber on Aramic?
